Cango Wildlife Ranch is excited to announce its 8th consecutive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award!

This annual accolade, which honours and celebrates tourism excellence, is given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on the famous TripAdvisor platform and is extended to facilities worldwide. Travellers trust facilities with this award, because it proves that the facility has a large number of positive reviews and as such, is a great point of reference for sceptic travellers. In short, it gives the awardee bragging rights for service excellence.

TripAdvisor makes use of a secret, proprietary algorithm to allocate these awards. To qualify, a business must maintain a 4 out of 5 rating and up and receive a minimum amount of reviews (only TripAdvisor knows what this amount is). In the tourism industry however, it boils down to customer experience and that can only truly be achieved by phenomenal staff and a gravitation towards excellence. Happy visitors are much more inclined to write happy reviews, it’s as simple as that.

As with any social platform, if you open your business up to criticism, you must be able to take it all, the good…and the bad. Charleen Boshoff – Marketing Manager noted: “Though it’s easy to get derailed with one or two sticky reviews, we at Cango Wildlife Ranch, take pride in responding to every visitor review. It keeps us in the loop on how our visitors feel about our service levels and facility and enables us to better ourselves accordingly. Platforms such as these give our visitors a voice…and we’re listening closely”.

In a service-orientated industry, 8 consecutive Service Excellence awards really is cause for celebration. It proves an infallible determination over the past 30 years, to ensure our visitors have the best possible experience, and even more important, being able to educate them on the plight of over 90 species of animals.  In the grander scale of things, the biggest award is consecutively reconnecting thousands of happy visitors to our amazing wildlife.
